The oldest district of Lisbon, built on steep hills, unfolds reminiscences of the past.
On this tour, we will go through Saint Anthony’s birthplace, so if you lost something, you can pray to his statue directly.
About 100m from Saint Anthony’s church, the Sé Cathedral and its almost 1 millenium years old will be witnessed.
As we proceed to the first sightseeing we will cover the roman theater or the mouraria, where the moors were confined by the 1st king of Portugal.
After stopping for a few minutes and enjoy the Santa Luzia viewpoint, we will head to the highest point of Lisbon, Lady of the Hill viewpoint.
Here we will gaze over the essence of the city and update your instagram feed with amazing pictures.
From there, as we go downhill, we will pass through São Vicente de Fora Monastery and if it's tuesday or saturday, we will take a quick look on the feira da ladra (flea market) for glittering objects.
Carrying on, the National Pantheon follows, a former church and currently a site of famous Portuguese remains.
We will reach the end of this tour in Commerce Square, one of the largest squares in Europe.
