Why Blockchain?

Quite frankly, it started as a parody.

Back in 2017, any company listed on the stock market which announced implementing blockchain technology in their operations, translated into an abnormal increase of their stock value. The speculation of a disruptive innovation always made people irrationally exuberant and perhaps we were looking into some of those gains too.

Now on a more serious note, blockchain allows for a transparent and anonymous ledger where everyone can track transactions of data. It is changing the mechanics of different areas, such as governance systems, decentralized finance, peer to peer electronic cash systems and many others.

Besides wanting to bring awareness of this technology, Blockchain Tours also wants to join the revolution and embrace the future by accepting payments using blockchain technology.
